London:These are a few of my favorite things

I know I have not written for a while and I am not pleased with my inconsistent self . And it’s not like I don’t cook and think about the million things I would like to share and write about. Even though it’s summer, a time meant for leisure, sun and long lunches, it is actually very hectic. To spare you a long story, I am in the process of setting up our flat in Amman. It has been empty for 4 years and the space was starting to get to me. My sweet 96-year-old grand mother was taken ill to hospital and is still struggling to get better. The highlight of this summer is the week I managed to take off to spend with my friends in London. I have posted a few of my London favorite things …..and they really are a few as this is a city that I know and love too well.
I promise to be more consistent and have the camera on hand and take a few photos of the stuff I prepare that usually escape this blog

Billy’s In South Kensington. Basic food is my favorite kind of food. Grilled chicken, Greek salad and fries

Laduree at Harrods for canldes

Club Sandwich and Champagne at Laduree

Monmouth Coffee on Monmouth street. superb cappuccino.

Hungerford Bridge. London South Bank

A Mojito at South Bank’s BFI

A whippy Ice cream

St. James Park

The Delicious Food for Thought on Neal street. Vegetarian eatery at its best.

This really was the creme de la creme of all the stuff I indulged in on this trip. Waffle Meister. Hand made Belgian everything.

South Bank lovely bench. Genuine and quirky thing to place on a bench.

Wishing you lots of happiness as you set up your new home… it’s always good to have your camera and pen handy. No more food documentary?

Hi Ishita No more documentaries for now:) The cost of making a documentary is actually very steep and tv channels don’t pay the cost. But never say never I guess:) Thanksx
