Peanut Butter Cups
I find Instagram to be the easiest way to transport and learn of new dishes and recipes. It’s instant and gratifying, considering our fast paced lives. It is perhaps one of the first things I do in the mornings once I drop my child off to school- – I still would love to do an i phone photography course at one point to improve photo quality on my phone.
I came across these home made peanut butter cups from my Insta-feed’s NYT food posts. The only things I added were the flakes of sea salt on top and some rice krispies to the peanut butter -I also used Valrhona chocolates (milk and dark-melted in a bain marie) and used sugarless peanut butter.
Please note that the chocolates are not tempered to a certain temperature and so the colour and solids tend to change in few days time, that’s if they last.
What I also did was to give most of them away as little presents. They make wonderful pre Christmas presents and will tend to please people, except those with peanut allergies obviously!. Bon Appetit.
